Getting Maps

Here is how to get maps: You can get them for free at various checkpoints. There's a PDF for the checkpoints between Hachinohe and Kuji, which you can see (in Japanese) here. However, I recommend the following points, because not all checkpoints are created equal. The sake shop I went into was like "Maps?? Panic!!" Asterisks mean I physically saw the maps sitting around somewhere ready for you to take them. I didn't go further south than Forestpia so don't worry if no asterisk.

Kosode Ama Center https://goo.gl/maps/Pwuft

You can also have the maps mailed to you for the cost of postage. Info for that is at the bottom of this page, in Japanese. And I`ll just translate the info in English here.

I am assuming these maps can only be mailed within Japan, not to your overseas mountain castle only accessible by packhorse. Limit to one map per section per person. There are nine sections now, which means that you can get the total set of nine maps per one person.

Don`t you just want to send me a nice beer and maybe some potato chips? But I won`t give you my address because axe murderers, so please buy someone around you a beer and potato chips.
